Growing up, Christmas wasn't about how many gifts were under the tree or who got the biggest present. It was about participating in the warmth and comfort the season brings to everyone. Every year, my family would gather at each other's homes, sharing stories and creating memories that we've carried with us year after year.

That same feeling of warmth extended beyond our front door. I remember driving around town to look at all the beautifully lit homes and going to local holiday celebrations. Seeing everyone full of joy, celebrating together—it gave me the exact same feeling of inclusion and connection that I felt with my own family. That shared joy is what truly got me into this business.

From a Dream to a Community Tradition

It all started simply because I wanted to help friends and family create displays they could be proud to show off to the neighborhood. Honestly, my biggest dream has always been to light up enough homes that we could draw a map for families to drive around at night, pointing out the brightest centerpieces in different towns and knowing our work helped build that magic.

As more neighbors started asking for help, I realized we could turn this passion into a real service. Everyone loves the magic of holiday lights, but not everyone has the time or the desire to climb a ladder in the freezing cold. I wanted to make the holidays accessible, convenient, and completely safe for everyone, taking the hassle out of decorating so families could focus on what really matters.

Rooted in Connecticut

I’ve been living in New Haven County since the fourth grade and graduated high school in 2017. This community is my home, and the people here are my neighbors.

Today, our goal at ATC Lighting is exactly the same as it was when I first started: to spread joy, make the season magical, and create beautiful displays that bring people together. We take care of the ladders, the freezing weather, and the tangled cords, so you can spend your time doing what the holidays are really about—making memories with the people you love.
